Hello!
With six hundred members, AVF Nice welcomes anyone who has recently settled in our lovely city or is looking to build a friendly social network.
We work in close cooperation with local officials and the City of Nice’s division in charge of welcoming newcomers.
AVF Nice offers its members a wide range of activities through qualified and dedicated volunteers.
These include the following.
- Sports activities: first and foremost hiking, but also golf, yoga, gymnastics, skiing, cycling, kayaking etc
- Cultural outings: theatre (Nice, Antibes, Monaco) and opera performances, guided tours of museums, remarkable sites and gardens, trips within the Nice region and beyond (Liguria, Sicily, etc)
- Language conversation groups (French for foreigners, English, Italian, Spanish), art workshops, cooking classes, card games, scrabble, pétanque, snooker, friendly get-togethers, Christmas party etc
